Primary practice nurse needed at a multi-disciplinary teaching facility!

The ideal candidate will be able to provide exceptional client care whilst being confident and friendly. Current knowledge in preventative and nutritional products is required.

This role would be well suited to candidates who are enthusiastic and have the drive learn and grow.

The role is mostly patient-focused. Responsibilities include patient assessment, procedural work (collection of bloods, IV catheter placement, dental scale and polishing, wound management), anesthetic monitoring and recovery, in-patient care, assistance with consultations and client liaison.

The role is full time, and the successful candidate will be required to work a four-day week. No weekends or evenings are to be worked. Part-time work may be considered for the ideal applicant.

Experience with animal behaviour, puppy pre-school, and feline-friendly practice is highly regarded, but not essential.

Equipment includes a range of diagnostic, laboratory and monitoring equipment, including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, CT, extensive anesthetic monitoring equipment, ventilation capabilities, a full Idexx in-house laboratory suite and a pathology laboratory.
