An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced veterinary nurse to join the dedicated and fun-loving team at a practice located in far north Queensland!

The successful candidate will join a team of supportive, experienced and skilled nurses who assist four vets at the practice.

The practice is committed to having a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for its staff and clients. Vet nurses wanting to work in a motivated team environment should apply.

Candidates will work a full time four day week. There are no after hours to be worked. Weekends are 1:2 or 1:3.

The practice is well-equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, multi-parameter anaesthetic monitoring, electrocautery, tonometry, Bair Hugger, dedicated dog and cat wards and in-house Idexx lab station.

The area boasts wonderful rainforests, mountains, rivers and waterfalls. The Great Barrier Reef is close by. The location is ideal for those looking for a rustic setting close to the famous tropics of Queensland.
