A surgical head nurse is required to join a modern, well-equipped and expanding referral practice.

This is a full-time role and a fantastic opportunity to join a team of over 20 skilled and experienced staff who are devoted to providing excellence in veterinary and patient care.

Located on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, the practice provides referral-only services in small animal surgery, internal medicine and oncology, ophthalmology, dentistry plus physiotherapy and rehabilitation.

The practice is centrally located and surrounded by magnificent beaches, breathtaking mountains and hinterland making it a truly exceptional place to both work and call home.

This is a great opportunity for veterinary nurses with a passion for surgery and experience in managing a team. Nurses on a working holiday visa, who are able to work for 6 months, are also encouraged to apply.

The practice is fully equipped with ultrasound, digital radiology, laparoscopy, endoscopy, arthroscopy, fluoroscopy, full Idexx laboratory suite and easy access to CT and MRI. The practice also works alongside a great physiotherapy and rehabilitation team as well as a specialised emergency service who provide out of hours and weekend care for patients.
