An experienced mixed practice veterinarian is required at a high-quality and established veterinary practice.

The work will be primarily large animal - mainly dairy with some sheep and lifestyle animals.

The successful applicant will join an experienced and friendly, six-vet team as well as skilled veterinary technicians and vet nurses.

Clinic hours:

Monday - Friday, 8am until 5pm

Saturday, 9am until 11am

There are no after hours for companion animals. However, there may be some shared large animal on call with other mid-Canterbury clinics.

This is a progressive veterinary business providing services to a large range of clients in the area. With a team of support staff, there are always people at hand to provide support and training.

The practice offers a competitively structured salary and CPD allowance and a vehicle for business use for mixed practitioners.

The practice is located at edge of the Canterbury Plains, approximately 50 km northwest of Christchurch.
