An exciting opportunity has become available for an companion animal veterinarian to join a large veterinary practice on the east coast of the South Island in New Zealand.

The practice are seeking to employ an experienced vet to join their young and high-quality team.

The role can be flexible. There is the opportunity to work full-time or part-time hours.

Clinic hours are:

Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 6 pm

Saturday, from 9 am to 12 pm

The successful applicant will work in a large team and supported by friendly and experienced veterinary technicians and admin staff.

Work benefits include CPD allowance and a work vehicle for mixed practitioners.

This well-equipped practice includes IDEXX laboratory, endoscope, laprascope, ultrasound and x-ray with an automatic processor.

This practice is located between two major rivers where salmon and sea-run trout fishing are a popular activity. If fishing isn't up your alley, leisure facilities, cafe's and world-class hikes are not too far away. An international airport can be reached in an hour's drive.
