Are you an experienced vet looking to take the next step in your career? If so, this might be the role for you!

A practice north of Melbourne has a current vacancy for a senior veterinarian to join the team in a full-time capacity.

The successful applicant will join a team of four full-time vets, three part-time vets, and a large team of ten nurses. You will have the pleasure of working with a friendly, social bunch of people who love to share and work together.

The hospital is fully equipped to offer all in-house medical, diagnostic and surgical procedures including complicated soft tissue and orthopaedic surgeries. The practice sees everything from primary care consults to emergencies (snake bites, HBC, major trauma) plus TTO, fracture repairs and other orthopaedics.

The employer is looking for a vet with exceptionally high standards of care, a proactive and accountable attitude, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong client relationship building skills, along with effective time management and organisation skills.

Benefits of the role include a continuing education allowance and study leave per year, relocation assistance, sponsorship (work permit) and a visa for you and your dependents, if applicable.

This is a full-time position. Clinic opening hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm and Saturday 9 am - 1 pm, Sundays closed.

The practice is an easy commute from Melbourne, just north of the CBD. The location is close enough to the urban area to access all amenities, yet far enough to enjoy space and serenity - the best of both worlds!
