A specialist surgeon is required to join a multi-disciplinary veterinary specialist hospital in Melbourne.

The hospital operates across two locations and the vet will be required to work at both. They offer a full range of specialist services including internal medicine, surgery, dermatology, behavioural medicine, oncology and diagnostic imaging. The centre aims to provide clients, patients and referring veterinarians with the best integrated veterinary care available.

As a centre of excellence, the team of specialists are committed to employing evidence-based practice to ensure animals receive care comparable to that of human medicine. The centre's collaborative approach to care draws upon the extensive skills of its specialists across all areas.

Applicants should have the ability to perform a full range of orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeries at specialist level. The ability to perform myelograms would be viewed favourably. Applicants must be eligible to register as a specialist in small animal surgery in the state of Victoria. A desire to grow the business is essential.

The successful applicant will work alongside one other specialist surgeon.
