A privately owned referral centre in inner-Melbourne has a current vacancy for a specialist in small animal medicine.

The successful applicant will join a large team. The medicine department comprises of three specialists and one resident. It is supported by three dedicated nurses and works cooperatively with 24-hour emergency care and an established specialist surgical service.

A post-graduate qualification allowing registration as a specialist is preferred however credentialed specialist exam candidates are welcome to apply.

You will be working within an established centre that provides specialist surgery and medicine services for companion animals, as well as referral behaviour, ophthalmology, physiotherapy and hydrotherapy consultations.

This is a well-equipped modern hospital with a 16-slice CT, excellent MR access, clinical pathology, endoscopy, fluoroscopy, EMG and digital radiography allowing excellent diagnostic capabilities.
