Production Animal Clinician Adelaide - 204,455MC

An exciting opportunity exists for a production animal veterinarian to join a busy, high-quality practice. The successful applicant will work alongside two other production animal clinicians.

This is a fixed-term contract commencing ASAP until the end of December 2020.

The work is genuinely mixed across all production animal species and would suit an enthusiastic, team-oriented veterinarian with a passion for production animal medicine. Supported by experienced animal technicians and working as part of a clinical team, along with support from a group of experienced academics, specialists and pathologists, this is an opportunity to deliver high-quality veterinary services to the community.

Veterinary services offered include general care and preventative health services, herd health, breeding services, and diagnostic and surgical procedures. This position also contributes to the emergency after-hours service on-call roster on weeknights and weekends.

The hospital operates uses the latest technology, equipment and professional services. The imaging suite consists of radiography, fluoroscopy, ultrasound and CT, staffed with a radiographer. There are also fully equipped vehicles for on-farm work.

You will be working in a team of other experienced vets, nurses and support staff who pride themselves on offering the highest quality care for clients and their animals.

Further study and continuing professional development activities are encouraged and supported with time off and up to $3,000 per annum available towards approved activities.

On-call and overtime allowances apply for participation in the after-hours on-call roster.
