A clinic in a rapidly growing area 20 minutes from the Hobart CBD is looking for a new vet to join their team!

The ideal candidate will have some experience and an interest in buying into the practice in three to five years' time.

The clinic currently has a team of three vets, five nurses and a practice manager. The team are dedicated to practicing high-quality medicine for all patients under their care at every stage of their life.

They offer a complete range of veterinary services using modern purpose-built facilities. Equipment includes digital x-ray and in house IDEXX.

The successful applicant will work a four-day week. Clinic hours are very civilised at 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, weekdays. One or two Saturday mornings per month to be worked, 9 am - 12 pm.

The vet will be rostered on to perform both surgery and consultations. Consultations are run using a consultation nurse.

Applicants should be competent with most soft-tissue surgeries and have experience with dentistry. Orthopaedic skills would be advantageous.

Continuing education is strongly encouraged. The vets work as a team, sharing ideas and discussing cases to provide the best possible care for patients.

Temporary accommodation can be arranged if the successful applicant is relocating to Tasmania.
