A position has become available for a vet with an interest in equine work to join a very mixed practice, in a large country town in South East Queensland.

The start date is very flexible.

The practice offers high-quality breeding, and general surgery and medical services to their equine clients.

The ideal applicant will have a genuine interest and experience in equine work. The practice also has a busy small animal and bovine caseload as well, so all vets need to see all species some of the time.

The position is full-time and vets usually have 1 day off during the week. The weekday hours are 8 am to 5.30 pm. There are 1:5 weekends to be worked; Saturdays 8 am to 12 pm. The after-hours roster is shared between 5 vets.

The practice is progressive and well-equipped. Facilities include digital x-ray, brand-new-high-quality ultrasound, well-stocked surgical equipment, in-house laboratory, as well as lots of other toys!

The clinic has four to five vets working daily with excellent support staff.

Continuing education is strongly encouraged.

The practice is located in a vibrant town in south-east Queensland. The town has all amenities and sporting facilities, and is only a 3 hour drive from Brisbane.
