A veterinarian is required to join the great multi-vet team at a well-established practice on the beautiful mid-north coast of New South Wales.

The practice is fully computerised, and has two state-of-the-art operating theatres with four surgical tables. Vets are supported by well-trained nurses.
Sponsorship is considered for experienced vets from overseas.
To be the right fit for this position, you will meet the following criteria:
- Highly developed diagnostic and surgical ability
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated affinity with animals and a commitment to promoting animal welfare
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills
- Strong work ethic and the ability to be flexible and cope with change
- Strong relationship management skills
- Team player
- Resilience
- Ability to bounce back from occasional setbacks
Perks of the role include one weeks' paid continuing education leave plus an allowance, exposure to a large network of veterinary professionals, opportunity to develop your surgical skills, VIN, AVA and ASAVA memberships paid for, and special interests encouraged and supported.
Feedback from a former employee, who worked at the practice for almost five years and only recently left to move overseas: 'I have been working at this practice since graduating in 2014. We have a really good team. Everyone is supportive. There is a good mix of both shelter and private practice work. The clinic is very busy, and we see a lot of unusual cases that you probably wouldn't in your standard practice. On average we do two orthopaedic surgeries per week. The team is absolutely the best part of my job, everyone is fantastic!'
The clinic is situated close to the Hunter Valley wine region and the coast. There are lots of indoor and outdoor activities for you to enjoy in your free time. The clinic is close to local shops and amenities.
