A mixed animal position has become available at a large, progressive practice in the Gippsland region of Victoria. New/recent graduates, as well as experienced vets, are encouraged to apply.

Excellent support will be provided by an experienced team of 14 vets.

The practice has a great client base of dairy and beef farmers, equine and small animal owners. While the large animal work is mainly dairy, an interest in equine would be viewed favourably.

You will have access to a fully-equipped hospital with most of the latest equipment including an in-house laboratory: ultrasonography, an Idexx machine and a progesterone testing machine. For large animals, they offer cattle ultrasound, a teat sealer trailer, a mobile crush and bull testing equipment and much more.

The practice values their employees and provides a number of additional support services, including AVA membership and the Employee Assistance Program.

All staff at the practice are supported by a friendly team of experienced veterinarians and helpful, experienced nursing staff. Professional peer support and continued education are strongly encouraged.

This position is based in the Gippsland region, with nearby mountains, lakes and national parks. The practice is also only a 45-minute drive from the beautiful southeast coast.
