Full Time Vet Job in NZ - 205,265EH

An opportunity for a mixed practice veterinarian to join a practice in the Northland region of New Zealand has become available.

The practice works with a mix of animals including; 30% equine, 30% dairy, 40% companion animal, sheep and goats.

Practice opening hours are Monday - Friday, 8.30 am - 5 pm. The practice currently employs one full time mixed practice vet and one part-time small animal vet.

Some weekend on-call work plus after hours may be required. The practice equipment includes digital x-ray, ultrasound and more.

The practice is situated in a city with a vibrant arts community. Enjoy idyllic harbours and ocean beaches, walkable volcanic mountains and plenty of marine adventures close by. Only 2 hours (or 35 minutes flying) from the main city of Auckland and 1.5 hours from the Bay of Islands, you can enjoy both the city life and coastal scenery on your days off.
