A leading group of small animal hospitals in Australia are seeking a full-time veterinarian to join their friendly and dynamic Emergency and Critical Care team in Canberra.

The successful candidate will have some experience or an interest in emergency medicine. Memberships in emergency and critical care or the desire to obtain these qualifications will be highly regarded but is not essential. Excellent communication and organisational skills, along with the ability to work well within a team and independently when required, is a must.

For this role, the vet will be required to work various rotational shifts including evenings, overnights, weekends and public holidays.

This position offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience, relocation assistance if needed, one weeks' paid study leave (including an allowance), access to regular tutorials, case discussion, in-house seminars and interaction with specialists.

Equipment at this first-class facility includes digital x-ray machine, ultrasound, fully equipped surgery, ECG, BP and multiparameter, full in-house pathology, video endoscopy, oxygen tents, ventilator and much more. It is computerised with RxWorks.
