An ECC Specialist is required to join a multi-disciplinary referral team at a hospital in Canberra.

Sponsorship (work permit) is available for vets from overseas. The hospital is offering a generous salary package including: 4 weeks annual leave, 1 week study leave, and a relocation allowance, plus assistance with visas for overseas applicants. 

The successful applicant will be required to work on a rotating roster. This will involve three to four overnight shifts per week.

Access to a broad range of specialists and consultants is available.

This position requires DACVECC or FANZCVS - eligible for specialist registration OR board-eligible residency trained in emergency and critical care.

The hospital is a first class facility with extensive, up to date equipment and an exceptional team of vets and nurses who practise the best care for all their patients. Equipment at the practice includes digital x-ray machine, ultrasound, fully equipped surgery, ECG, BP and multiparameter, full in-house pathology, video endoscopy, oxygen tents, ventilator and much more. The practice is computerised with RxWorks.

Canberra has numerous facilities and attractions including educational institutes, easy access to snowfields, south coast beaches and is 3 hour drive from Sydney.
